Product leader and Zignal Labs, Fitbit, Paypal alum brings 25+ years of innovation, execution, and strategy to power Teramind’s next stage of growth
MIAMI, FL – March 19, 2026 – Teramind, the global leader in workforce intelligence and user behavior analytics, today announced the appointment of Gal Perl as Chief Product Officer. In his role, Perl will lead Teramind’s strategy, roadmap, and execution of Teramind’s solutions portfolio used by over 10,000 organizations in 125+ countries across every industry to prevent insider attacks.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the security landscape, as insider threats and human-driven risk accelerate. According to Ponemon Institute’s 2026 Cost of Insider Risks Global Report, the average annual cost of insider incidents has reached $19.5 million per organization, while Verizon’s Data Breach Investigations Report finds the human element involved in about 68 percent of breaches, highlighting how employees and insiders have become one of the fastest-growing sources of cyber risk heading into 2026.

Perl brings more than 25 years of leadership in product strategy, roadmap development, and execution. Before joining Teramind, he served as Chief Product Officer at Zignal Labs, overseeing a portfolio used by over 70 of the world’s largest enterprises and public sector organizations to accelerate data-driven decision-making. At Fitbit, he managed portfolio strategy alongside the CEO and general managers, leading a global team of 40 technical product managers responsible for the delivery of Fitbit’s devices, user experiences, healthcare initiatives, and enterprise SaaS solutions. This experience will be critical as Perl advances Teramind’s AI-powered Insider Risk Management and Data Loss Prevention offerings.
